Children's Bedroom Design in a Singapore Flat

Furniture that survives growth, safety details, and storage that a child can actually reach.

Design for the next five years, not this year

A room specified for a toddler is obsolete by primary school. The durable decisions are the wardrobe carcass and the power layout; the changeable ones are the bed, the desk and the colours.

Reachable storage or it will not be used

Storage above a child's reach becomes parent storage. Low drawers and open bins at child height are what actually keep a room tidy. TO FILL: children's room joinery

Safety details that belong in the drawing

Anti-tip fixings for tall furniture, socket positions out of easy reach, and window grille fixings are drawing-stage decisions rather than afterthoughts. Window grilles and their fixings are a safety item, and the fixing substrate matters more than the pattern.

Two children in one room

Bunk or side-by-side is decided by ceiling height and by whether the room has a beam. Measure the clear height under any beam before committing to a bunk.

We will come back with a written, itemised quotation — supply, install, or supply-and-install stated line by line, so you can compare it against anyone else's.
